We had dentist appointments this week. Little Man got to walk around and witness what was happening to his older brother and sisters. He saw them get panoramic x-rays, pictures of their teeth, and cleanings. He heard the whirr of the utensils, and couldn't wait to wear the glasses which he calls, "eyes." It's obviously easier for him to say than, "glasses." :)
After a little while, he and I went out to the children's waiting room so he could play with Legos and look at spiders in a magazine. When it was his turn to see the dentist he burst out of the playroom door and nearly took out the dental hygienist in one fell swoop. (He was so excited for his turn!) He followed the labryinth to his room, hopped up on the chair, and laid as stiff and still as a corpse. The only thing moving on his body were his baby brown eyes when he got a chance to see his teeth on the tv and then to watch cartoons as he got his cleaning.
NOW HE LOVES TO BRUSH HIS TEETH!
We couldn't have asked for a better first time dental visit.
